I just finished reading The Martian by Andy Weir.  What a fantastic book!  I loved the movie (it was Parker's first movie) and I found the book to be equally engaging.  My 8th grade reading class is reading this right now and loving it!

My current read is the fourth installment of The Naturals book series.  Barnes' books follow a group of teens who have been recruited by the FBI to search for serial killers.  You can compare it loosely to the television show Criminal Minds.  The stories are fairly gritty and most appropriate for 8th grade and up.  We have the series in the library, so stop by to check it out.
